
Dr Dilanka’s books are now open and she is accepting new patients.
Dr Dilanka joined our practice in May 2025 after relocating from Bundaberg, Queensland. Dr Dilanka is here full time (5 days a week) to work towards her Fellowship with RACGP. She provides comprehensive, patient-centered care for individuals and families.
Dr Dilanka is a medical professional born and graduated in Sri Lanka, with experience across General Medicine, Anaesthesia, Surgery, Gynaecology & Obstetrics, Geriatric Medicine, Family Medicine, and Emergency Medicine. In Australia, she worked at Bundaberg Base Hospital from January 2023 in Emergency, General Medicine, and Orthopaedics before joining our practice in May. She is committed to evidence-based care, continuity, and empowering patients to make informed health decisions.
Dr Dilanka’s clinical interests span family medicine and general medicine, with a particular focus on women’s health, child health, and chronic disease management. She emphasises preventive care, tailored management plans, and regular reviews to support long-term wellbeing.
